I guess I will fill in the blanks from last week that Liji did not share. On Tuesday Liji and I went to play badminton at this park on the mountain. While we were playing this boy around 8 years old comes walking over and he has this bag with rackets and birdies. Nobody came with him so we invited him to play with us, so he did. We thought that someone was coming to meet him and would come soon but nobody ever came. He talked enough English that we could learn some basic information about him and let me tell you I fell in love with this little boy. He is so cute. I would ask him a question and he made the cutest laugh ever and would answer yes. Like it was so funny to be talking in English. It was so cute. We don't have any pictures of him but I'm sure we will see him again. When we left him that day he wanted to meet us the next day on Wednesday at 11 am. as well. So he gave us his phone number and we told him we would try to make it. We had an appointment already at 10:30 with the missionaries, to meet with the Lim's two sons. On Wednesday we met the Elders and went over to the apartment for our apartment and nobody was home. We waited for a little while but then decided to head over to the badminton courts to meet the little boy, Jay Huok. When we got there Jay wasn't there yet so Liji and I played badminton for awhile while the Elders did some proselyting. They brought over the man who is in the picture below to play a game with Liji. He was interested in the church and told the Elders he wanted to come to church. We'll see if it happens I guess. Eventually Jay Huok showed up and so we played a game with him and it was good to have the Elder's there with him to be able to find out more about him.

After playing we didn't have much time to make it to work but the Elders wanted to go to lunch with us so they took us to a restaurant they have been telling us that we needed to go to because it fast and cheap. It was pretty good, but the quantities weren't as big as some of the other places we've been to so Liji didn't like that.

Thursday we went on a scooter ride to find a reservoir that our friend Jeremy had told us about where they had a good bike trail going around it. We found it and are glad that we did. It was really pretty there. We thought that we would have been able to ride the scooter on the trail but it was a much more intense trail than we were expecting and we aren't positive but we think that there was a sign that said there was a fine for taking vehicles past this gated area that led to the trail. We thought about risking it but the fine amount was 1 million won which is about a thousand dollars for whatever it was said on the sign. We couldn't understand the rest of the sign, only the amount.

We decided to try and go around the mountains on the main road to get to another opening up to the reservoir but we never ended up finding one. We did however find this Temple below.

A hiking trail up to a great lookout.

This beautiful shrine area supported by a very large rock wall that I thought I had put the picture of it on here but aparently I didn't because it's not here. But here is Liji at the top of it.

Liji took this picture through a whole in that statue that he was leaning on in the above picture. Turned out pretty cool.

Beautiful scenery. If you look close the garden in this picture has tons of colorful flags to keep the birds away we are thinking.

We even found our first cows in South Korea.

I had to take a picture of this very traditional style house up in the mountains. I just think it is a cool house.

The rice is heading out.

The rest of the pictures are from our trip to Seoul on Saturday, which Liji already described in great detail.

On the train they even had a kareoke room. On the way home when we had to travel the whole time in the entertainment cart there was a girl in here singing for like 2 hours straight. Now that is love.
