Sucheon

On Wednesday we woke up early to beautifully clear skies so we headed out early to take a bridge over the inlet from the sea to the other side of the river delta, because we haven't been to that area yet. It turned out to be a great day. We found some fun parks along the way and made it to a semi-beach that had what we think is a camping area just off from it.
Liji has really started to go overboard with this whole sea food thing. He's started
to eat the crabs before they're even dead, shell and all! Poor Crab

So happy to be in Korea!

A really big rose hip. Liji was way impressed.

The tide was pretty low but we saw some kids out playing in the mud flats and so we decided we wanted to try and make it to the water. Well it got a lot deeper than we were expecting, but we did finally make it to the sea.

After cleaning ourselves and were headed back home a group of people out having a Korean
style BBQ stopped us and gave us some really good watermelon and some not so good
rubbery corn. We have been stopped and given food a number of times. Everyone has
really been so nice to us even though we don't understand a word their saying.
A lady out digging for some sea creature. We aren't quite sure what it is called.

I was born in the year of the Tiger
